Rodrigo Gechem works at the Latin American and Iberian Institute at UNM as the unit administrator. He also works at Catholic Charities in the Center for Educational Opportunity & Career Pathways and as a Treasurer on the Executive Board of the ABQ FaithWorks Collaborative. Rodrigo is originally from Bogotá D.C., Colombia.
Fiore Bran Aragón (she/her) is a Nicaraguan migrant, researcher and advocate based in the United States. She holds a MA in Latin American Studies from the University of New Mexico. She currently works as a program manager in leadership development for home care workers at Encuentro.
Dr. Cris Elder is an associate professor in the Rhetoric and Writing Program in the Department of English at UNM. Her research and teaching focus on supporting student populations historically excluded from higher education. She brings a similar spirit of activism to her community-engaged work in Albuquerque and around the globe.
