About:
Join Miranda Rubio Opsal, professional dancer and teaching artist with Ballet Five Eight, for a master class combining classical ballet technique with movement from the company's original production of La Llorona. The class will begin with a traditional ballet barre, followed by an opportunity to learn excerpts from La Llorona, a contemporary ballet inspired by the legendary figure of Mexican folklore. Students will explore the musicality, expressive movement, and Latin dance influences that help bring this powerful story to life.
