Dr. Jason Moore research over the Summer

An interdisciplinary research team titled Biodiversity Nexus co-convened by Dr. Jason Moore, Associate Professor, Honors College Chair and Affiliated Faculty at the LAII, advanced to level 2 of Grand Challenges. Their research will help researchers examine how species respond to changing environments, how contaminants move through ecosystems, and how disease patterns change in different landscapes.

Dr. Moore also led an international group of students, faculty and researchers on a field research in Paraguay seeking to investigate how to best understand the fossil record. The group counted 19 people, from 5 different countries.
