Meet AY FLAS awardee, Ennedith Lopez. Ennedith is a first year dual Master of Arts Student in Latin American Studies (MALAS) and Community Regional Planning. Ennedith is studying beginning Nahuatl. She is interested in studying Nahuatl “because I want to intentionally work alongside communities across Abya Yala and the diaspora. This unique opportunity allows us to learn of different worldviews; this includes Indigenous languages. By learning Nahuatl, I hope to better approach community-led solutions to our society’s pressing issues.”
