Dr. José Luis Hurtado Awarded the Mexicanos Distinguidos Award

We would like to congratulate Dr. José Luis Hurtado, Professor of Theory and Composition in the Music Department at the University of New Mexico for being awarded the Mexicanos Distinguidos Award by the Consul of Mexico in Albuquerque for his outstanding 25-year career as a pianist, composer, and academic, dedicated to showcasing Mexican art and cultural heritage beyond the borders.
