Rosa earned a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education and a Master of Arts in Spanish- Hispanic Linguistics from the University of New Mexico. Go Lobos! Before joining the Latin American and Iberian Institute, Rosa spent several years teaching Spanish. Now, as a Communication and Outreach Specialist at the Institute, she is thrilled to integrate her educational experience, Latin American heritage, and her connections with New Mexico and UNM into her new role. Beyond her professional life, Rosa enjoys hiking, cooking, and exploring new destinations around the world.
