The concentration in Public Health provides graduates with a foundation for addressing the pressing health concerns affecting Latin American populations and Latino populations in the US. The focus on languages, cultures, and societies prepares students to effectively work in cross-cultural health contexts, either in Latin America or with Latin American immigrant populations within the United States.
