Hi! I received my B.A. from the University of Washington in the inspiring interdisciplinary major Comparative History of Ideas and the equally enjoyable minors Diversity and Education. I moved with my family from Seattle in 2010 to attend graduate school in American Studies at UNM. We fell in love with the vast sunny sky and the friendly beautiful people, and we decided to make Albuquerque our new home. I am interested in critical race and postcolonial studies, international cinema, and student-centered educational models. I believe in a holistic approach to advising, and I love to assist students to find solutions and shape their education to advance life plans and be their authentic selves. Farah advises many different academic programs.
