Dr. Mia Sosa-Provencio teaches in the Department of Teacher Education, Educational Leadership, and Policy at the University of New Mexico. Previous to earning a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Critical Pedagogies from New Mexico State University, Mia taught 9th  through 12th grade Language Arts for seven years at Rio Grande High School in the South Valley of Albuquerque.
