The Latin American & Iberian Institute (LAII) supports the administration of UNM's interdisciplinary degree programs in Latin American Studies and the university's Latin American and Iberian activities in all its schools and colleges with outreach to New Mexico, the nation and international communities. Most of LAII's activities are located in the main building on Yale NE, just south of Lomas, near the President's house and the "Duck Pond" (a university landmark).
