The LAII uses several venues to publish information related to Latin America and Iberia. The following information constitutes a brief summary of such venues. Please click on titles for links to further information regarding each.
LAII Paper Series
The LAII's Research Paper Series, Occasional Paper Series, and Mercosur Working Paper Series provide refereed forums for the timely dissemination of research on Latin America and Iberia. Both graduate student and faculty submissions welcomed.
Latin American and Iberian Multidisciplinary Opinion Newsletter (LIMON)
The Student Organization of Latin American Studies (SOLAS) publishes a quarterly newsletter, LIMON: Latin American and Iberian Multidisciplinary Opinion Newsletter. The current issue of LIMON is available online. For information regarding submission guidelines and deadlines, contact the editor or visit the SOLAS website.
Latin American Data Base (LADB) Online News and Information Service
The LADB Online News and Information Service covers Mexico, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean. The LADB currently produces three on-line news digests, each of which contains articles on topics not readily covered by US media. Recently LADB also began archiving Latin American publications as well. Each article is archived in LADB's searchable database.
- SourceMex - Economic and Political News and Analysis of Mexico. Focuses on Mexican economic issues such as investment, agriculture, policy revisions and initiatives, debt, petroleum industry, the environment, macro-level political developments and social issues. Publishedo n Wednesday, SourceMex places particular emphasis on developments and analysis of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and other trade issues, including matters related to the U.S.-Mexico border such as transportation and the maquiladora industry.
- NotiSur - South American Political and Economic Affairs. Contains news, summaries and analysis on a variety of political, economic and social issues in South America. NotiSur covers regional peace processes and "democratization," including topics such as political parties and elections, governmental reform and judicial issues, political violence and human rights, military issues, and Inter-American affairs and also regional economic stories such as trade integration. Published Fridays.
- NotiCen - Central American and Caribbean Political and Economic Affairs, Including Cuba. Formerly titled EcoCentral, this bulletin offers information and analysis about regional economic integration, economic liberalization, and the impact on the environment, labor, politicization and income distribution in the countries of the region. Cuba and the non-English speaking Caribbean countries are also covered in this newsletter. Published on Thursdays.

DSpaceUNM is the institutional repository for the University of New Mexico. The site is a digital archive for the University of New Mexico's research and creative works, and thereby serves as an open access tool for collecting, disseminating, and preserving the intellectual output of the UNM community.
