Amanda is the LAII's special assistant to program development. For almost twenty years, she has managed academic programs, coordinated outreach, developed research and training programs, and organized collaborative projects among Title VI National Resource Centers. Drawing on this background, Amanda has worked with the LAII to support grant initiatives, manage the Latin American Studies program, coordinate the Foreign Language and Area Studies fellowships, and provide assistance and input on broader research and program development. Amanda enjoys the opportunity to work with dynamic students and engage in multidisciplinary undertakings. When she's not pursuing the next best meal and drink, she enjoys hiking the beautiful trails around New Mexico and Arizona and planning her next trip to anywhere.
