From the North: Go south on I-25, take the Lomas exit east, cross University Blvd, turn right on Yale, the Latin American Institute will be on your right.
From the South: Go north on I-25, take the Lomas exit east, cross University Blvd, turn right on Yale, the Latin American Institute will be on your right.
From the East or West: From I-40, turn south onto I-25, take the Lomas exit east, cross University Blvd, turn right on Yale, the Latin American Institute will be on your right.
From the airport: Exit the airport and head north on Yale Blvd. At Central, take a left and go three blocks to University Blvd. Take a right on University to Lomas. At Las Lomas, take a right onto the campus. Turn left on Yale, the Latin American Institute will be on your left. See also Public Transport, below; you can take Route 14 or 50.
Parking: Parking at UNM is extremely limited; there is very little visitor parking on UNM campus. Spaces near the LAII are all designated parking, including those outside our building. If you are an official guest of the LAII (including teachers visiting our lending library), you may pick up a parking pass at the LAII front desk. Otherwise, the location offering paid parking (maximum $6 per day) for visitors is on the south side of campus near the Popejoy performing arts center and Johnson Gym. Enter UNM campus from Central Avenue on Stanford, east of University Avenue. The paid parking lot is to your right.
Public transport: Route 5 (Montgomery/Carlisle),  Route 11 (Lomas), and Route 12 (Constitution) will take you to the intersection of Lomas and Yale. From there it is about two blocks south to the Institute.

Route 14 (Airport) will take you to University and Las Lomas. Route 50 (Airport/Downtown) will take you to University and Redondo. From there it is about three blocks east to the Institute.

Route 21 (Trolley), and Route 66 (Central) will drop you off at Harvard and Central (UNM Bookstore). From there it is about a ten minute walk north across campus to the Institute.
