Brazilian Studies

The concentration in Brazilian Studies brings into dialogue multiple disciplinary fields (History, Political Science, Art History, Portuguese, Community and Regional Planning, Anthropology, among others) to better understand the relations among social, political, economic, artistic and physical phenomena in Brazil.  This multidisciplinary concentration prepares students for continued study at the doctoral level; teaching Brazilian studies at the high school and community college level; as well as non-governmental organization work, to name a few possibilities.
