Give to the LAII: Ways to Give

The LAII values the support of our alumni and broader affiliate community. Each year, your donations change the lives of our students and faculty. There are many ways to give to the LAII, including:

Make a Gift

Donations of all sizes are vital and gratefully accepted. To make a one-time gift to the LAII, visit the UNM Foundation website. If you would like to designate your gift for a specific area (e.g., student success, faculty scholarship, or LAII programs), please indicate this in the comment area of the Foundation's gift form.

Make an Annual Gift

Annual gifts support the LAII by allowing the director to allocate resources to areas of greatest need. Annual gift donations may be used to strengthen student and faculty research opportunities, support events and conferences, or enhance facility resources. Create an Endowed Fund

An endowment is created when a donor chooses to establish funds for a specific purpose in perpetuity. Endowed funds may support student scholarships, faculty research, program development, or the general needs of the program. Endowments allow the LAII to plan for long-term program growth and opportunity. Learn more about how to create an endowment for the LAII.

Make a Bequest

A bequest is a gift to the program made by a provision in a will. Various kinds of property may be given by bequest, including cash, real estate, and tangible property, among others. Bequests do not affect your current assets and will ensure that the LAII will continue to grow over the long-term. A bequest is one of the easiest gifts to make.
